Job Title: Electrical Assembler
Job Description
This role focuses on assembling electrical and mechanical components in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining high quality and on-time production. You use hand and power tools, follow blueprints and schematics, perform wiring and panel assembly, and support troubleshooting of mechanical equipment. Candidates with at least six months of manufacturing experience and an interest or background in electrical work will thrive in this position.
Responsibilities
Assemble electrical and mechanical components using hand and power tools, measuring devices, and assembly instruments.
Read, interpret, and follow blueprints, diagrams, schematics, and other written instructions or procedures to complete assembly tasks accurately.
Perform electrical wiring and panel wiring, including crimping and routing wires according to schematics and quality standards.
Carry out machine assembly tasks, including mechanical assembly work that may involve the use of forklifts and welding equipment as needed.
Use tape measures in both SAE and metric units to verify dimensions and ensure components meet specifications.
Complete troubleshooting steps for mechanical equipment in accordance with inspection procedure guidelines.
Work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining high quality standards and meeting production schedules.
Support all areas of the production floor as required, demonstrating flexibility to move between tasks and departments.
Follow all safety procedures and guidelines, using provided tools and equipment correctly and responsibly.
Successfully complete and pass an electrical assessment as part of the hiring and onboarding process.
Essential Skills
Minimum of 6 months of manufacturing experience.
Ability to pass an electrical assessment.
Ability to operate power and hand tools, measuring devices, and instruments used for assembly.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, and schematics.
Ability to use tape measures in SAE and metric units accurately.
Experience with electrical wiring and panel wiring tasks.
Capability to perform mechanical assembly, including machine assembly work.
Comfort working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining high quality and on-time production.
Willingness and ability to support all areas of the production area as required.
Strong attention to safety and adherence to safety procedures.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Electrical experience is a plus, including recent completion of an electrical certification.
Experience with blueprint reading and schematic interpretation.
Hands-on experience using a variety of hand and power tools for assembly work.
Education in wiring, crimping, and panel wiring in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
Familiarity with machine assembly processes and mechanical assembly tasks.
Experience operating forklifts and performing basic welding is beneficial.
Ability to perform troubleshooting on mechanical equipment following inspection guidelines.
Comfort working overtime shifts when needed, including every other Saturday or Friday depending on shift.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
