The Seven Hills Paperboard Mill in Lynchburg, Virginia is seeking an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join our Maintenance team. Reporting to the Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor this position is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, installing, and improving mechanical equipment throughout a 24/7 recycled paperboard manufacturing facility. This role may also support other maintenance and production leaders as business needs require.
As a Mechanical Maintenance Technician, you will play a critical role in maintaining equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the mill. Working within a team-based, multi-craft maintenance environment, you will apply your mechanical expertise to safely complete preventive and corrective maintenance activities while collaborating with Operations, Engineering, and fellow Maintenance team members to support production, safety, and quality objectives.

Provided is the local pay range for this position, which is $36.37 to $48.32 per hour, plus a shift differential of $0.80/hr. This hourly pay rate offered can vary depending on location, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. In addition to the hourly base pay rate, this position is eligible for periodic bonus payments and an annual vacation payout/bonus (subject to change in accordance with Collective Bargaining Agreement guidelines). The targeted bonus amount after one year of employment can be up to 4% of gross earnings. The total annual target cash range (Hourly Pay Rate plus Bonus, annualized including average overtime (44 hrs/week * 52wks)) for this position, is $88,400.00 to $116,800.00. Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and are not a guarantee.-
