Production Equipment Operator - Food & Beverage Manufacturing

Job Title: Production Equipment Operator - Food & Beverage Manufacturing

Location: Atwater, California

Type: 6-8 week Contract

Compensation: $22-28/hr

Work Model: Onsite - onsite

Responsibilities

Operate and monitor food processing equipment throughout the production process.

Prepare, cook, and process liquid concentrates according to established production procedures.

Operate centrifuge equipment and assist with transferring product between processing systems and kettles.

Monitor production parameters and make minor process adjustments ("process tuning") to maintain product quality and efficiency.

Accurately complete production records, batch documentation, and equipment logs.

Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), GMPs, sanitation, and safety requirements.

Perform equipment inspections before, during, and after production runs.

Maintain a clean and organized production area.

Work closely with supervisors and team members to meet daily production goals.

Assist with other production duties as assigned.

Requirements

Previous experience operating manufacturing or production equipment preferred.

Food & Beverage, pharmaceutical, chemical processing, or industrial manufacturing experience is highly preferred.

Experience following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and documenting production activities.

Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues.

Ability to work safely in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.

High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.

Comfortable working around industrial processing equipment.

Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures and noise levels.
