Customer Service Representative

About the Role
We are seeking a customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join a growing team supporting customers through phone and email interactions. This role is responsible for handling inquiries related to orders, product information, pricing, account maintenance, and issue resolution while delivering an exceptional customer experience.
The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who enjoys helping customers, can confidently handle challenging situations, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Respond to inbound customer calls and emails regarding:
Order placement
Order status updates
Product information
Pricing inquiries
Process customer orders and service requests accurately within the company ERP system.
Resolve customer concerns and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
Create and maintain customer accounts.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues over the phone.
Process Return Merchandise Authorizations (RMAs) when required.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including logistics, supply chain, regulatory affairs, sales, and trade compliance to resolve customer issues.
Monitor email queues and ensure department service levels are achieved.
Participate in daily team meetings and KPI reviews.
Meet individual productivity and quality metrics, including service levels, phone availability, and response times.
Communicate potential issues or customer concerns to leadership proactively.
QualificationsRequired
Minimum 1 year of customer service experience or technical support experience.
Experience working with challenging or escalated customer situations.
Typing speed of at least 40 WPM.
Experience using CRM and/or ERP systems.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent problem-solving and multitasking abilities.
High attention to detail and organizational skills.
Preferred
Experience processing orders and maintaining customer accounts.
Experience within a call center, manufacturing, healthcare, medical device, or product support environment.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
