Customer Service Representative (Claims Support) - Hybrid
Location: Golden Valley, MN (Hybrid - 3 days onsite after training)

About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to support a growing claims operations team. This position combines customer outreach with investigative and administrative work to ensure beneficiaries receive timely assistance and claims are processed accurately.
Approximately 70% of the role involves research and investigative work, with 30% dedicated to outbound calls and email communication.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct follow-up activities related to claims and beneficiary outreach.
Contact beneficiaries who have not submitted claims paperwork or require additional assistance.
Research and verify information to ensure claim records are accurate and complete before outreach occurs.
Follow up on outstanding documentation and missing claim requirements.
Assist with pre-escheat and unclaimed property activities.
Partner with claims processing teams to resolve complex cases.
Escalate issues requiring management or legal review.
Respond to and resolve complex customer inquiries using established procedures and guidelines.
Investigate non-routine issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
Serve as a resource for team members and assist with special projects as needed.
Deliver a high level of customer service through proactive communication and education.
Required Qualifications
1-2 years of experience in:
Customer Service
Operations
Insurance
Financial Services
Call Center or Customer Support environments
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to investigate, analyze, and resolve customer issues.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and business systems.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
Claims processing or insurance-related experience.
Experience handling outbound customer communications.
Knowledge of financial services operations.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
