Job Title: Warehouse Technician
Job Description
The Warehouse Technician receives inbound shipments, accurately picks and packs customer orders, and prepares paint and related products for shipment. This role ensures precise and timely order fulfillment while upholding high standards of safety, quality, and productivity in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The position suits a detail-oriented and dependable individual who takes pride in accuracy and teamwork.
Responsibilities
Receive inbound shipments and verify the accuracy of products, quantities, and documentation.
Pick customer orders accurately using warehouse systems and equipment to ensure 100% order accuracy.
Pack orders securely and efficiently to prepare paint and related products for shipment.
Prepare outbound shipments, including labeling, staging, and loading, in accordance with shipping requirements.
Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, order pickers, and other warehouse equipment safely and in compliance with safety procedures.
Handle materials, including lifting, carrying, and moving products, to support daily warehouse operations.
Use RF scanners or similar tools to track inventory movement and maintain accurate records.
Support inventory control activities by helping with stock rotation, cycle counts, and organization of warehouse locations.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area to support operational excellence.
Work collaboratively with team members and communicate effectively to meet productivity, quality, and safety goals.
Meet performance expectations in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and high-quality standards.
Perform general labor tasks as needed to support overall warehouse and distribution operations.
Essential Skills
Experience accurately picking, packing, and shipping customer orders.
Strong focus on productivity, quality, and maintaining 100% order accuracy.
Ability to safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, order pickers, and other warehouse equipment.
Comfort working in a fast-paced warehouse environment while meeting performance expectations.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical warehouse duties throughout the shift.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
1+ years of experience in warehouse, distribution, picking, packing, or shipping roles (preferred).
Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, order pickers, or other powered industrial equipment (preferred).
Familiarity with inventory control and warehouse management processes (preferred).
Experience with RF scanners and inventory tracking tools.
Experience in general labor, material handling, or inventory control.

Work Environment

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Garland, TX.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
