Minimum Qualifications
Three years of experience in administrative services; OR
Six years of full-time work experience in any field; OR
A bachelor's degree.
EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:
Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards the six years of full-time work experience in any field. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 semester hours which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience in any field.

Job Duties and Other Information
Job Duties:
· Oversees regional administrative operations, including human resources, purchasing, inventory, property control, travel coordination, budget support, and contract management to ensure efficient office operations.
· Supervises and develops administrative staff by assigning work, monitoring performance, providing training and coaching, and ensuring compliance with Civil Service and LDH policies.
· Manages regional purchasing, inventory, and property accountability, including procurement, surplus processing, annual inventory, and emergency purchasing activities.
· Coordinates regional travel, budget, and fiscal activities, including travel authorizations, reimbursements, purchasing card reconciliation, and monitoring administrative expenditures.
· Administers facility and office support services, including records management, telecommunications, emergency preparedness, maintenance coordination, and office safety.
· Serves as the regional liaison for human resources, payroll, telecommunications, and administrative services by coordinating personnel actions, resolving operational issues, and ensuring policy compliance.
· Develops and implements administrative policies, procedures, and process improvements while fostering teamwork, promoting employee engagement, and supporting continuous operational excellence.
