?? Location: Rowan Regional Medical Center, Salisbury, NC - Behavioral Health and Cardiac Telemetry Departments

?? Schedule: Full-Time, Monday -Friday 8:00-5:00pm with some flexibility

Novant Health is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Administrative Specialist II to support departmental operations through high-level administrative and clerical tasks. Whether working independently or as part of a team, you'll play a vital role in ensuring smooth day-to-day functions and serve as a trusted resource to staff in the Behavioral Health Cardiac Telemetry Departments.

What You'll Do:

Payroll and timekeeping (attendance tracking and etc.)

Provide comprehensive administrative support to leadership and team members

Manage departmental communications, scheduling, and documentation

Meeting coordination and meeting minutes

Contribute to a collaborative and efficient work environment

Vendor coordination

Invoice and work order management

What We're Looking For:

Education : High School Diploma or GED, required. Education in basic office procedures.

Experience : Two years of administrative support experience, required. Administrative support experience, preferred.

Additional Skills (required):

Ability to effectively communicate with physicians and hospital staff. Ability to use a variety of software packages, such as Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, etc., to produce correspondence and documents and maintain presentations, records, spreadsheets and databases; Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing. Communication: Creates an environment that supports and respects diversity to promote creative problem solving. Communicates the value of activities within the organization and community to gain cooperation and collaborative partnership.

Customer Service: Holds staff accountable for customer service standards and ensures service recovery when needed. Ensures staff responds to customers in a timely manner.

Digital Fluency: Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, specifically Excel, Word, Teams, and PowerPoint.
