As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Watcher in Seattle, WA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy government transportation location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support riders, visitors, and staff through strong customer service and communication. Wed05:00 AM - 03:00 PM

Thur05:00 AM - 03:00 PM

Fri05:00 AM - 03:00 PM

Sat05:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, passengers, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government transportation location.

Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel and/or public agencies when needed.

Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout platforms, stations, parking areas, buildings, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.

Monitor access points, observe public areas, and document security-related incidents, hazards, and/or policy violations in accordance with post orders and location procedures.

Support crowd management and access control during peak travel periods, service disruptions, special events, and/or emergency situations while maintaining a visible presence.

Minimum Requirements:

At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.

Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.

Handcuffing certification is preferred.

A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Baton certification is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
