Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day Time

Tue02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Thur02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or the public by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.

Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through appropriate channels.

Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter access points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related issues.

Monitor access points and public areas, verify authorized entry when required, and assist with directing visitors and/or employees in accordance with site protocols.

Support routine operations by maintaining a visible presence, communicating with site contacts and/or local first responders when needed, and following post orders and incident reporting procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
