As a Security Officer Patrol Operations in Charleston, WV , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location as an unarmed patrol officer, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support access awareness, provide outstanding customer service and communication, and represent a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and guided by integrity.

Pay Rate: $13.00 / Hour

Day Time

Fri06:00 PM - 06:00 AM

Sat06:00 PM - 06:00 AM

Sun06:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.

Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through proper communication channels as needed.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including offices, common areas, entry points, and perimeter areas, helping to identify and report security-related concerns.

Monitor access points and observe activity across the location, helping to support a professional environment for a fast-paced technology, media, and telecommunications setting.

Minimum Requirements:

This is primarily a driving post.

Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
