As a Security Guard Enhanced Part Time - DoD Clearance Required in San Diego, CA , this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $24.61 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day Time

Sat11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

How This Role Works:

Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.

Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service to all personnel and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control practices, and/or emergency response activities at a defense-related location.

Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns through appropriate channels.

Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.

Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and follow post orders related to restricted areas, deliveries, and sensitive workspaces.

Support Allied Universal and site leadership by communicating clearly with employees, contractors, visitors, and first responders during routine operations and/or emergency situations.

Minimum Requirements:

Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.

Be at least 21 years of age.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
