Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $20/hour

Shift: 1st, Day shift schedule

What's a typical day as Forklift Operator? You'll be:

Inspecting forklifts before use to ensure proper working condition

Loading and unloading materials and goods onto and off trucks, trailers, or storage areas using a forklift

Maintaining accurate inventory records and reporting discrepancies to management

Operating forklifts safely and responsibly at all times

Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the work area

Reporting any forklift malfunctions or maintenance needs to supervisors

Assisting with other warehouse tasks as needed

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

Have at least 3 months of forklift experience and/or experience using warehouse distribution equipment

Hold a high school diploma or GED (or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience)

Can successfully pass internal Forklift Certification Training and demonstrate safety procedures

Are able to work in sometimes dusty, hot, or cold conditions

Have the physical ability to regularly lift and move up to 50lbs (occasionally up to 65lbs with team lifting or equipment)

Can perform job tasks that require bending, crouching, climbing, pushing, pulling, stooping, and reaching

Possess strong attention to detail, work independently or as part of a team, and have good communication skills
