Job Description
This Warehouse Associate role supports a fast-paced commercial furniture warehouse by handling, organizing, and managing high-end commercial furniture, inventory, and materials. You will work closely with a small, collaborative team to receive, inspect, and prepare products for storage, shipment, and installation, while ensuring accuracy, safety, and efficiency throughout daily operations.
Responsibilities
Receive, inspect, and manage high-end commercial furniture, inventory, and materials to ensure accuracy and quality.
Operate basic hand tools and power tools to assemble, disassemble, or prepare furniture and related items.
Use warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and other material-handling tools to move inventory safely and efficiently.
Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including unloading deliveries, staging products, and preparing items for outbound shipments.
Support project management and installation teams by preparing materials, organizing inventory, and assisting with logistics as needed.
Use basic computer skills and inventory systems to track products, update records, and maintain accurate stock counts.
Move or reposition trucks on-site when requested and when qualified to do so.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment by following safety procedures and housekeeping standards.
Remain on your feet for most of the shift while performing lifting, carrying, and other physical tasks.
Demonstrate excellent attendance and punctuality to support team schedules and customer commitments.
Adapt to changing priorities and workload based on customer demands and seasonal business needs.
Work collaboratively with a small warehouse crew, communicating clearly and supporting teammates to complete daily tasks.
Essential Skills
1-3 years of prior warehouse experience.
Practical experience using basic hand tools and power tools.
Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 70 lbs periodically.
Valid driver's license.
Experience with inventory systems and inventory management processes.
Ability to operate pallet jacks and other basic warehouse equipment.
Familiarity with RF scanners and order picking activities.
Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and documentation.
Physical stamina to stand and be on your feet for most of the day.
Strong attendance, punctuality, and reliability.
Flexibility and adaptability to adjust work schedule based on customer demands.
Comfort working in a team-focused, fast-paced environment.
Willingness to learn, stay busy, and take initiative in daily tasks.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Forklift experience (preferred but not required).
Experience working with heavy lifting and material handling in a warehouse setting.
Comfort using a variety of power tools and equipment safely.
Strong attention to detail when inspecting, labeling, and organizing inventory.
Ability to communicate clearly with team members and follow written and verbal instructions.

Work Environment
You will work on-site in a team-oriented, fast-paced commercial furniture warehouse with a small crew of approximately 3-4 people. The schedule runs Monday through Friday from 5:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.. The role is physically active and requires being on your feet for most of the day, regularly lifting and moving heavy items. You will use hand tools, power tools, pallet jacks, RF scanners, and inventory systems in a warehouse setting that emphasizes safety, organization, and teamwork.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wilsonville, OR.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
