The Microelectronics (E) Product Line performs cutting-edge microelectronics research in its Science & Technology (S&T) area and delivers advanced microelectronic products in its Development & Production areas that advance mission capabilities across commercial and defense applications. Our traditional products lines are solely focused on S&T but include Quick Reaction Capability to field countable engineering samples for customer continued research. We are seeking an experienced Operations Program Manager to join our FAST Labs Operations Team to support uniquely the Mixed Signal and Digital Integrated Circuit Product Area with focus on creating, implementing and maintaining the operational processes used to deliver the next generation of microelectronic products to the enterprise. Also, you will engage with all other S&T product lines in early research to ensure scientists and engineers channel energy into work products that can deliver efficient transfer of proto@types to development and production business areas.
The OPM Lead serves as liaison for escalations to the FAST Labs Product Line and Business Area leadership while supporting functions to ensure program success. Reviews and provides feedback on project execution plans and validates technical and business resources needed. Communicates to Senior Leadership any successes and/or disappointments to the plan. Assesses issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
Requirements of this Position
Our Operations Program Manager IV will oversee managing major development projects in the Mixed Signal and Digital Product Area product line along with support of all other Product Lines new campaign programs. Support in this area will include developing a Quick Reaction Capabilities Process (QRC) in support of the rapid proto@type process for S&T Product Lines. The OPM serves as the strategic liaison between project management/planning, project team, FAST Labs Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering design team, and line management as the program design is proven out and ramps to our customers shipset rates per month along with the following duties:
Works closely with all feeder and final factories on NRE and production build schedules, interfacing with factory leadership on a regular basis to ensure parts/assemblies are delivered on or ahead of schedule.
Works with the Program to kick off technical insertions and transition to New Product Introduction and production efforts to follow on program orders.
Works closely with Supply Chain and Procurement teams to develop and execute Dual Source Strategies on high-risk (ideally all) parts.
Prepares and implements project execution plans and identifies technical, manufacturing, and business resources needed for the program success.
Collaborate with Hardware Engineering and other stakeholders to develop and execute a streamlined approach FAST Labs Campaign engagement and project execution.
Engage with program Quality to meet schedule of programmatic deliverables.
Additionally, the OPM will assess the issues and lead the team to develop resolutions that meet productivity, affordability, quality and customer satisfaction goals and objectives, helping to mitigate any friction between later transition partners.
Provide guidance to identify the need for technical back up for decision making to the project team.
Ensures program forecasts are updated accordingly and that all factories are aware of their future demand and staffing needs.
Needs to identify and mitigate technical and schedule risks to program execution.
Interface and coordinate production priorities within the Product Line.
Must have a current/active Secret Clearance.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Typically, a Bachelor's Degree and 10 years work experience or equivalent experience.
A minimum of 6 years of experience with the following
Product transition to production as well as ramping production rates
Cost reduction, Cost take out, and Affordability
Creating and evaluating proposals for Government customers.
Mentoring and managing junior team members.
Experience working with Supply Chain / Partnerships
Strong history with Cost Account Management
Experience working with suppliers and resolving issues
Experience working in the factory environment
Working across Geographical sites
Leadership skills (influencing in a matrixed organization)
Executive Communication skills (Written and Verbal)
Conflict Resolution difficult conversations
Cultural Development of high-powered teams.
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $149603 - $254317

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
