Warehouse Operator
Pay: $26/hr
Location: Onsite in Fort Worth, TX 76140
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm (30-minute meal break, two 15-minute breaks)
Overview:
Kelly is seeking a Warehouse Operator for our client. This role requires attention to detail, strong computer skills, and previous PIV experience in a warehouse setting. The Warehouse Operator will follow established procedures to receive, handle, store, perform system transactions, and dispatch goods in a factory or warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE):
Stop work and immediately report any major injury hazards.
Report any work-related injury, illness, incident, or hazard.
Comply with all HSE standards, policies, procedures, and regulations.
Use appropriate personal protective equipment.
Promote a culture of safety by looking out for team members.
Address hazards within your control and capabilities.
Work to minimize environmental impact.
Participate in HSE training as required.
Quality:
Follow standard work instructions, process documentation, and established quality procedures.
Identify and raise issues to minimize cost and quality exposures.
Perform quality checks for damage and discrepancies between goods and invoices.
Identify and control non-conforming material.
Delivery:
Receive incoming goods, accurately sort, label/package, and store goods to optimize warehouse space.
Operate manual and automated equipment to pick, pack, and ship product per customer expectations.
Demonstrate high competency in core work skills.
Work at the required cycle time or defined engineering standard.
Teamwork:
Communicate effectively with team members and support teams.
Complete training as required by the business.
Participate in initiatives to improve quality, safety, process, material flow, and employee development.
Maintain a clean and orderly work area, including routine housekeeping and equipment cleaning.
Remain flexible and perform other duties as required to meet business goals.
Collaborate with peers, skilled trades, and support staff to identify and report equipment in need of repair.
Requirements:
Good computer skills.
Previous Powered Industrial Vehicle (PIV) experience (such as forklift/pallet jack).
Experience working in a warehouse setting.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for the majority of the shift.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
