Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $21.90 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day Time

Mon03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Sat07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations to the appropriate personnel.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout campus buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity.

Monitor access points and help to verify authorized entry for students, employees, visitors, and/or contractors in accordance with location procedures.

Document routine activities, incidents, and/or unusual conditions, and communicate relevant information to campus contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and/or baton is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

CPR and/or First Aid is preferred.

CPR certification is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
