In this essential role, you'll ensure smooth office operations and support our staff with a variety of administrative and coordination tasks.
Location : Houston, TX
Shift and Pay : Mon-Fri 8am-5pm | $23/hr
Contract : Temp to hire
What You'll Do :
Greet and assist all visitors, clients, and employees with a warm, professional attitude.
Manage front desk activities, answer and route phone calls and emails, and maintain visitor logs.
Coordinate conference room bookings, handle mail and deliveries, and support security procedures.
Provide administrative support, format and distribute business documents, and maintain accurate filing and records.
Schedule meetings, organize events, and help with data entry and report generation.
Monitor office supplies, coordinate with vendors and service providers, and keep shared spaces tidy.
Support new hire onboarding, assist with travel arrangements, and handle expense reporting.
Maintain high standards of customer service and communication, responding to inquiries with urgency and professionalism.
Handle confidential information with discretion at all times.
What We're Looking For:
High school diploma or equivalent (required).
2+ years' experience in an administrative, receptionist, or office support role.
Strong computer skills-including Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Experience with office equipment (phone systems, printers, scanners).
Excellent organization, multitasking, and time-management abilities.
Professional demeanor and a customer-focused mindset.
Strong written and verbal communication.
Detail-oriented and able to manage competing priorities.
Friendly, adaptable, and eager to support wherever needed.
Preferred Skills :
Familiarity with office management systems.
Creative problem-solving and strong decision-making skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Willingness to take on various administrative and operational tasks.
Physical Requirements :
Ability to sit, stand, and move around the office during work hours.
Occasionally able to lift or carry up to 25 pounds.
