Summary You will serve as an Administrative Officer for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Region 3, Marquette Biological Station. You will provide a wide range of administrative, financial, human resources, procurement, and property management services that support a complex program with multiple funding sources, diverse staffing needs, and extensive partnerships. Responsibilities Some of the major duties you will perform include but are not limited to the following: Lead management analysis to improve how the office uses people, space, equipment, and systems, and recommend solutions that increase efficiency. Manage human resources actions and advise supervisors on staffing, structure, performance, benefits, and workforce planning. Oversee full budget planning and execution, monitor spending, analyze financial trends, and use systems such as the Financial and Business Management System (FBMS). Direct procurement and property management, including purchasing, market research, justifications, inventory, and disposal in line with federal rules. Coordinate travel, payroll, agreements, and administrative processes while representing the office in meetings and ensuring compliance with policies.
