As a Security Officer Screening Specialist in Tracy, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener in a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, screen people and/or materials, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. This role calls for strong customer service, communication, and attention to detail while supporting daily operations. Thur03:00 PM - 11:30 PM

Fri03:00 PM - 11:30 PM

Sat03:00 PM - 11:30 PM

Sun03:00 PM - 11:30 PM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.

Screen people, vehicles, packages, and/or deliveries entering or leaving the location in accordance with posted requirements and established access protocols.

Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, shipping and receiving areas, and perimeter, as working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Monitor entry points, credential checks, and visitor processing to help to deter unauthorized access and support the orderly flow of operations.

Minimum Requirements:

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.

Customer service experience is preferred.

A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
