Job Title: Warehouse Receiver
Job Description
Warehouse receivers support both the Receiving and Parts Counter departments in a large warehouse, ensuring accurate receipt, documentation, and distribution of parts that keep maintenance operations running smoothly. You will handle incoming shipments, perform detailed inspections, manage inventory in an electronic system, and collaborate closely with mechanics and other warehouse staff. Enjoy a 4 day work week, day shift and night shift are 10 hour work days, Wednesday - Saturday. Qualified and motivated warehouse candidates are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
Receive incoming parts each day and handle packages safely and efficiently.
Perform receiving inspections on all incoming parts, including visual checks and verification of condition.
Complete all required paperwork for incoming shipments, ensuring accuracy and legibility.
Scan forms and documents into the system and accurately record shipment details such as carrier (e.g., UPS, FedEx), arrival dates, and part numbers.
Stamp and process forms as required by internal procedures.
Take clear photos of products as part of the receiving and documentation process.
Verify all incoming parts in the IMOPS computer system, ensuring data matches physical inventory.
Send daily emails to communicate receiving status, discrepancies, or issues to relevant stakeholders.
Stage verified materials on carts in an organized manner to support efficient distribution.
Use the IMOPS inventory management system to enter, update, and track parts and inventory data.
Support the Parts Counter department by performing cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory records.
Pull reserve orders and parts for mechanics and technicians in a timely and accurate manner.
Re-inspect parts when necessary to confirm condition and correctness before issue.
Count products and document the cost of inventory as required.
Assist with general shipping and receiving functions as needed, including preparing items for outbound shipment.
Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts if experienced and assigned, to move and stage materials safely.
Maintain a clean, organized, and well-labeled work area in both Receiving and Parts Counter departments.
Communicate clearly and professionally with team members, supervisors, and other departments.
Demonstrate strong attention to detail and dependability in all tasks, including documentation and data entry.
Follow all safety procedures, dress code requirements, and facility guidelines while working in the hangar and warehouse areas.
Essential Skills
Receiving inspection experience with parts or similar materials.
Hands-on experience with inventory processes, including inventory control and tracking.
Cycle counting experience to maintain accurate stock levels.
Experience picking parts or materials for technicians or mechanics.
Experience staging parts and materials for distribution or use.
Familiarity with inventory management systems, including using IMOPS or similar software.
Basic computer skills, including data entry and email communication.
Ability to perform accurate data entry for inventory, receiving, and documentation tasks.
Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate counts, documentation, and system entries.
Reliable and dependable work habits, including consistent attendance and follow-through.
Effective communication skills to coordinate with coworkers and other departments.
Preferred experience operating forklifts for Receiving openings.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Prior warehouse experience in shipping, receiving, picking, or inventory management.
Experience working in an aviation, industrial, or large-scale maintenance environment.
Comfort using electronic systems and scanners to track parts and inventory.
Ability to adapt between Receiving and Parts Counter tasks as business needs require.
Willingness to work either day or evening shifts, including Wednesday through Saturday schedules.
Interest in building a long-term career in warehouse operations or the aviation industry.

Work Environment
The role is based in a large warehouse environment that is newer, very clean, well lit, and highly organized, providing a professional and efficient setting for warehouse operations. The doors can open and close throughout the day, so temperatures can be chilly in colder months and warm in hotter months. The organization is expanding its lines, which brings additional projects and a dynamic workload. You will work around active maintenance operations and collaborate closely with mechanics and other technical teams. Dress code includes closed-toe footwear such as steel-toe boots, gym shoes, or work boots, along with jeans without rips or tears and a comfortable, appropriate work shirt. Warehouse shifts include a Day shift Receiving/Shipping schedule of 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Wednesday - Saturday and a Night Shift schedule of 4:00p.m. to 2:30a.m. . Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
