Job Title: Warehouse Worker
Job Description
This role supports warehouse operations by working cross-functionally to move products and packages throughout the facility, load and unload materials, and ensure accurate storage and distribution of goods. The warehouse worker safely operates material handling equipment, participates in inventory management and order fulfillment, and maintains a clean, organized, and efficient work area. The position requires strong teamwork and communication skills to help foster a positive work environment and healthy team culture.
Responsibilities
Move products and packages throughout the warehouse using appropriate equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling tools.
Conduct equipment checks prior to the start of each shift and promptly report any issues or safety concerns to supervision.
Load and unload materials and merchandise from trucks and place them in the appropriate storage locations within the warehouse.
Stage pallets as needed for shipment to ensure efficient outbound processing.
Select products according to pick tickets and accurately place them in boxes for shipment, including tasks such as product labeling and box building.
Assemble daily shipments by order location and category to support accurate and timely order fulfillment.
Ensure orders are packed into appropriate shipping containers to meet customer delivery requirements.
Inspect products during packing to verify there is no damage and that items meet quality standards.
Perform quality control assessments on products and stacked pallets, ensuring they are safe, secure, and compliant with warehouse standards.
Build boxes as needed for the shipment of products to customers.
Notify supervision of any deficiencies in product quality, customer shortages, or damaged goods.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in all warehouse areas.
Collaborate with team members and contribute to a positive, cooperative, and safety-focused culture.
Essential Skills
Minimum 1 year of experience in a warehouse or forklift-related role.
Hands-on experience with warehouse management and inventory handling processes.
Proficiency in material handling, including loading, unloading, staging, and stacking products and pallets.
Proficient in operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts, high reach trucks, and pallet jacks.
Experience using RF scanners for picking, packing, and inventory tracking.
Ability to accurately pick, pack, label, and assemble orders according to tickets and shipping requirements.
Strong attention to detail for quality control, product inspection, and order accuracy.
Ability to follow safety procedures and perform pre-shift equipment checks.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Forklift certification (pallet jack or high reach) preferred, with the ability to obtain certification upon hire.
Experience working in a cold storage facility is a plus.
Comfort working in a fast-paced warehouse environment with shifting priorities.
Strong communication skills to effectively interface with supervisors and team members.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work assigned shifts consistently.

Work Environment
This position is based in a cold storage warehouse facility where temperatures consistently remain under 40 degrees and can be as low as -2 degrees. Team members work around material handling equipment such as forklifts, high reach trucks, pallet jacks, and RF scanners in an active warehouse setting. The role requires openness to assigned shifts, including Tuesday through Saturday from 07:00 to 15:30 and Monday through Friday from 16:00 to 00:30, as needed. The environment emphasizes safety, cleanliness, and organization, with clear procedures for equipment checks and product handling to ensure a secure and efficient operation.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
