Join Allied Universal at a government corrections location as an armed patrol professional in a driving post, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support daily operations with strong communication and customer service. Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour

Sat05:45 AM - 06:00 PM

Sun05:45 AM - 06:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.

Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through appropriate channels.

Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.

Monitor entry and exit activity, verify access permissions, and support movement control procedures in accordance with site rules and post orders.

Assist with security-related checks of gates, doors, fencing, and other controlled areas, and communicate status updates with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

An armed guard card/license is preferred.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
