Beacon Hill Legal's client, an AmLaw 100 firm located in Lower Manhattan, is seeking a Temporary Facilities Assistant for a long-term contract coverage. Candidates must be able to commute to the office in Lower Manhattan five times a week and be comfortable working overtime on an as needed basis. Pay rate is dependent on experience. Qualifications: Ability to lift up to 30 pounds Maintain visiting attorney offices, stock proper supplies and ensure offices are kept tidy Replace light bulbs; perform minor repairs and housekeeping duties Maintain fitness center, including replenishment of towels and locker room supplies. Assist Facilities Manager in issuing temporary access cards and entering information into database; accompany vendors through office; other ad hoc requests as needed. Requirements: Ability to commute to the firm's office five times a week. High School diploma or equivalent is required Available to work the hours of 10:00-6:00pm Flexibility for overtime as needed. Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. Ability to use basic tools such as screwdriver, wrench and hammer. Ability to use office equipment including computers, printers and telephones.
