Description
AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. In other words, we're the people who keep the cloud running. We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. We work on the most challenging problems, with thousands of variables impacting the supply chain - and we're looking for talented people who want to help.
You'll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. You'll collaborate with people across AWS to help us deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers. And you'll experience an inclusive culture that welcomes bold ideas and empowers you to own them to completion.
AWS Supply Chain Management (SCM) is building next-generation enterprise supply chain products from the ground up. Come be part of the team enabling Amazon AWS to rapidly grow and continue as the pioneer and widely recognized leader in Cloud Computing - and have immediate impact on thousands of developers and businesses around the world. We are looking for a Principal Product Manager to own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for our Fulfillment Planning systems - the operational planning engine that decides what to manufacture, when to build it, and where to land it across our global infrastructure.
Why this role matters: AWS is massively scaling its infrastructure to meet unprecedented demand. We are redefining how we plan and execute fulfillment - driving hands-off-the-wheel automation and optimization to replace the manually intensive, computationally complex, and error-prone processes of today.
The right candidate will possess deep supply chain or manufacturing planning domain expertise, a strong product management background, and demonstrated ability to influence engineering, science, and operations teams across organizational boundaries. You will define product requirements informed by optimization science, translate complex multi-stakeholder tradeoffs into clear product decisions, and drive adoption with planning teams accustomed to manual workflows. You must thrive in ambiguity, make high-judgment calls balancing business needs versus technical constraints, and lead through influence. As a Principal PM-T, you will set the long-term product vision, anticipate bottlenecks across planning horizons, and ensure that our fulfillment planning systems can support AWS's most ambitious growth targets.
