Job Title: Warehouse Clerk

Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Warehouse Clerk in a warehouse setting where you will engage in general labor tasks, including picking, packing, and shipping/receiving operations. You will be expected to perform all warehouse functions with a primary focus on efficient material handling.

Responsibilities

Manage shipping and receiving tasks efficiently.

Handle materials and operate forklifts, particularly stand-up models and order pickers.

Ensure accurate picking and storing of products.

Perform general warehouse duties as needed.

Essential Skills

At least 1 year of warehouse experience.

Proficiency in operating a forklift and stand-up order picker.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Experience in handling and storing athletic gear and other similar products.

Work Environment

Work in a small, 300,000 square foot warehouse alongside a close-knit team. The environment is particularly busy from summer to winter as we handle a large volume of sports gear shipments. Temporary employees will collaborate with a few leads and supervisors. The dress code includes shirts, gloves, shorts, and all athletic gear, as these items are distributed to colleges nationwide.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lenexa, KS.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
