Description We are looking for a dependable Administrative Assistant to support daily office operations for a manufacturing environment in Cumberland, Rhode Island. This Long-term Contract position is well suited for someone who enjoys variety in their workday, stays organized, and makes a positive impression when interacting with visitors and staff. The role includes a mix of front-desk support, data coordination, product intake organization, and spreadsheet-based administrative tasks. This is an excellent opportunity for an entry-level candidate who is flexible, detail-oriented, and comfortable helping wherever needed.

Responsibilities:

Welcome visitors and create a positive first impression by assisting guests as they arrive at the office.

Maintain and update production sample information with accuracy, ensuring data is organized and easy to retrieve.

Receive incoming products and sort materials so items are properly tracked and stored.

Use Excel and other office tools to complete spreadsheet updates, data entry, and routine administrative reporting.

Provide broad office support across multiple functions, stepping in where assistance is needed throughout the day.

Answer inbound calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate team members in a courteous and timely manner.

Help keep administrative records, files, and work areas organized to support efficient daily operations. Requirements - Previous experience in administrative support, receptionist work, or office coordination is preferred.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage changing priorities effectively.

Clear communication skills and a customer-friendly approach when interacting with visitors and callers.

Comfort working with spreadsheets, including basic Excel data entry and document maintenance.

Flexibility to handle a wide range of office and operational support tasks.

High attention to detail when managing records, samples, and incoming materials.
