Position Summary...
The Group Director, Supply Chain Management will lead the development and execution of supply chain strategies that align with enterprise business priorities and improve end-to-end flow, service, cost, safety, and engineering quality. This role serves as a subject matter expert for distribution centers, engineering practices, and core supply chain processes, influencing senior and executive leadership to adopt process improvements, innovations, and best practices. The Group Director will also oversee external partner relationships, audit readiness, cross-functional collaboration, and a high-performing, engaged team grounded in integrity and compliance.
What you'll do...
Align supply chain and Ambient strategy by partnering with stakeholders to integrate business needs, acting as the SME for distribution centers, engineering applications, and supply chain processes, and influencing senior leaders to embed new processes, technologies, and innovations into business practices.
Develop and implement process and technology strategies across domestic networks by approving process improvement strategies, and engineering solutions that reduce costs, enhance service, improve safety, and strengthen engineering quality.
Oversee external partner relationships by setting expectations, approving key findings and communications, managing audit processes to ensure compliance with standards and agreements, and driving service provider selection.
Enable cross-functional collaboration that supports holistic buying decisions and leverages supply chain scale to reduce total cost of goods by partnering with Store Operations, Merchandising, Replenishment, and Supply Chain teams.
Educate and influence stakeholders on store merchandising and supply chain operating principles to build shared understanding of service requirements and operational constraints.
Leverage supply chain optimization tools to proactively provide consulting, insights, and solutions that improve outcomes across the network.
Lead supply chain flow process improvement efforts, including designing and delivering new ways of working, directing product flow plan objectives, and championing innovation to simplify solutions and methodologies.
Oversee error correction processes and feedback loops; identify opportunities to improve service levels; and evaluate impacts and benefits to internal processes.
Support end-to-end costing methodology and lean concepts by providing cost recommendations that reduce waste, improve efficiency, and unlock cost reduction opportunities.
Provide overall direction by analyzing business objectives and customer needs; developing, communicating, and implementing strategy; and assessing costs, forecasts, and resource requirements.
Evaluate operational processes and measure outcomes to ensure desired results, identify improvement opportunities, promote a customer-focused environment, and model adaptability and continuous learning.
Build and sustain a highly skilled and engaged workforce by identifying capability gaps, recruiting and developing talent, supporting mentorship and succession planning, and maximizing the strengths of new and existing associates.
Cultivates an environment where associates respect and adhere to company standards of integrity and ethics by integrating these values into all programs and practices developing consequences for violations or noncompliance and supporting the Open Door Policy.
What you'll bring...
Proven senior leadership experience in supply chain management, distribution center operations, and/or end-to-end supply chain process design.
Demonstrated ability to develop and execute supply chain strategies that align to business priorities and deliver measurable improvements in service, cost, and efficiency.
Strong cross-functional influence skills with experience partnering across Store Operations, Merchandising, Replenishment, and Supply Chain to drive alignment and results.
Expertise in product flow, process improvement, and operational excellence methodologies (including lean concepts and end-to-end costing approaches).
Experience managing external partners and service providers, including performance expectations, governance, and audit/compliance processes.
Analytical and strategic thinking capabilities, including comfort with cost/forecast inputs, resource planning, and outcome measurement.
Ability to lead large, complex initiatives through ambiguity while championing innovation and simplification.
Strong leadership skills, including talent assessment, coaching and development, mentorship, and succession planning.

The annual salary range for this position is $160,000.00 - $320,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :

Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field and 7 years' experience in logistics, distribution, transportation, or related
area OR 9 years' experience in logistics, distribution, transportation, or related area.
3 years' experience with advanced functionality of Microsoft Office.
4 years' supervisory experience
