BayCare is currently in search of our newest Medical Office Representative who is passionate about providing outstanding customer service to our community. BayCare's top priority is the health and well-being of our communities as Tampa Bay's leading multi-specialty group with more than 600 providers practicing 45 specialties in over 175 outpatient locations throughout the Tampa Bay and west central Florida regions.

Status: Fulltime

Shift Hours: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM (May Vary)

Shift Days: Monday thru Friday

Location: Required to travel throughout Manatee County

Weekend Work: None

On Call: No

Responsibilities:

Supports front desk operations in a busy physician's office

Performing all duties related to revenue cycle operations

Check-in/check-out

Collecting payments

Scheduling appointments

Handling patient inquiries

Scheduling procedures/surgeries

Entering orders, and utilizing various computer programs to manage schedules

Handle patient issues

Record patient information and various other administrative support duties

Role requires utilizing multiple computer systems, multi-tasking, critical thinking skills to track, follow up, and ensure task completion

Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements:

Required 6 months of healthcare

Or 6 months of Customer Service

Required High School or Equivalent

Highly preferred physician office experience
