Summary You will serve as an Electronics Technician in the Spectrum Integration Environment Division, Spectrum Warfare Department of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV POINT MUGU. Responsibilities You will act as the technical expert for Electronic Warfare (EW) hardware and test benches, and attend meetings to share your system knowledge. You will lead the maintenance and testing of EW hardware, suggest system improvements, and give technical feedback for future upgrades. You will independently troubleshoot and find the root cause of maintenance and performance problems on Radio Frequency (RF) equipment. You will review intelligence data to check threat models, making sure simulated environments are realistic for testing and evaluating EW systems. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11) or pay band (DT-04) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate duties related to the following: 1) Serving as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Electronic Warfare (EW) hardware and test benches, including representing system capabilities in technical working groups; 2) Leading the maintenance and test execution of EW hardware systems, and providing technical feedback for system upgrades and improvements; 3) Independently performing troubleshooting and root cause analysis to resolve maintenance and performance issues on Radio Frequency (RF) equipment; and 4) Reviewing intelligence data to validate threat models and create realistic simulated environments for testing and evaluating EW systems.
