As a Security Officer Warehouse Site in University Park, IL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic tech location as an unarmed patrol officer, conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and delivering outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license. Pay Rate: $19.75 / Hour

Day Time

Mon02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Fri02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Sat02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Sun02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.

Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout offices, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.

Monitor access points, verify visitor and/or delivery activity, and report suspicious behavior, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations according to site protocols.

Support a professional atmosphere by assisting employees, guests, and contractors with directions, access-related questions, and other security-related concerns at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
