Pay Range: $26.85 - $35.82
An integral team member of the Business Loan Center, the BB Sr. Loan Administrator (BB SLA) is proficient in their responsibilities. The BB SLA provides a full range of support to the Business Bankers, Branch Teams and Commercial Lenders in processing new loan requests and modifications to existing BB loans. Serves as a resource for internal/external customers, facilitates workflow of applications and related documentation, and ensures compliance with all aspects of applicable regulations and procedures.
Interacts directly with Commercial customers, Attorneys, and other outside professionals to facilitate closings, all within service level agreements. Minimizes risk by ensuring loans are closed accordance with approval terms, in compliance with applicable policies and procedures, and safeguarding collateral perfection and collectability. Ensure compliance with certain regulatory requirements. Accurate and thorough data interpretation and processing required for a high level of customer service and accurate financial reporting. Cure document deficiencies by working with relationship managers and directly with customers. The BB SLA focuses on more complex products and loan structures, including SBA 7A and 504 loans and construction loans. Train and mentor less experienced Team Members. Serve as point person for interbank training. Provides support in the absence of Manager. Troubleshoot complex loan product, collateral perfection and loan documentation issues. May serve on projects, initiatives, committees and aid in process development as needed.
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or GED required
Associate's degree preferred
3 years' loan experience or relevant experience required.

Proficient in the Bank's policy, procedures, accounting systems, and loan origination system.
Requires in-depth administrative knowledge of Business Banking procedures and Loan Policy, as well as an extensive understanding of applicable regulations

Understanding of and ability to appropriately process complex BB loan products.

Tasks Performed:
45% With a focus on more complex products and loan processing requirements, facilitates workflow of BB applications through post-closing, while meeting service level agreements. Performs due diligence to ensure clear lien position on all @types of collateral; this may include such tasks as reviewing and interpreting information searches, title reports, hazard insurance, appraisals, environmental reports; processing and communicating due diligence requirements to the customer and the field. Expedites closings by ensuring compliance with underwriter approval, identifying discrepancies, and reviewing with underwriting team. Works directly with borrower and lender to ensure all proper documentation is received, reviewed for accuracy, and properly placed in electronic loan & credit files, maintaining, and facilitating proper documentation in conjunction with LDCC and curing documentation exceptions post-closing.
20% Serves as subject matter expert and resource. Train and mentor less experienced Post Approval Team Members. Point person for interbank training visits. Provides support in all PA areas in the absence of Manager. Troubleshoot complex loan product, collateral perfection, loan documentation and other issues. May serve on projects, initiatives, committees and aid in process development as needed.
10% Responsible for the maintenance and organization of Business Banking electronic Loan & Credit files as a part of facilitating the loan booking process. Monitoring daily pipeline reporting to assure proper time accounting to ensure expeditated processing of loan approvals.
10% With a focus on more complex products and loan processing requirements, interacts extensively with external customers facilitating loan closings as well as internal customers including Business Bankers, Branch Personnel, Business Loan Center, Support Center staff, LDCC and others by serving as a subject matter expert. Provides superior customer service, exhibits professional telephone and communications skills when interacting with both internal and external customers including Attorneys and other outside professionals to assist and facilitate loan closings within loan approval and policy standards. Additional outside contacts may include related 3rd parties, including but not limited to Business Development Corps.
10% Responsible to initiate follow up with internal partners to ensure compliance with various Regulations, Including Reg B declination and appraisal requirements, Flood, CIP, BO/CDD and any other applicable regulations.
