Medical Assistant - Join a Patient-Focused Team!

Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Location: Onsite Clinical Setting

What You'll Do

Patient Care & Clinical Support

Escort patients to exam rooms and treatment areas with professionalism and care

Take and record vital signs, height/weight, allergies, and medication updates

Prepare patients for visits and ensure all necessary records are ready for the physician

Assist physicians during exams and procedures (documenting notes as needed)

Maintain clean, stocked, and fully prepared exam/treatment rooms

Follow strict sanitation and disinfection protocols to ensure patient safety

Administrative & Office Support

Answer patient calls and route inquiries appropriately

Communicate patient needs to physicians, nurses, or pharmacists

Call in prescriptions and assist with patient follow-ups as directed

Track and report appointment reschedules and no-shows

Support day-to-day office operations including filing, faxing, chart prep, and reception duties

What We're Looking For

Previous Medical Assistant or healthcare experience preferred

Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask

Excellent communication and patient interaction skills

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment

Professional, reliable, and team-oriented mindset

Comfortable supporting physicians during procedures

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Plano, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.

Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
