GENERAL STATEMENT OF THE FUNCTION

Teach classes and assist program chairperson with planning, organizing, and implementing program goals and activities related to clinical activities.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
An Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree (preferred) with a major or equivalent that is appropriate to the teaching assignment; a minimum of five years full-time professional experience as a general and OBGYN sonographer.
Current documentation as a registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer with certifications in abdomen, OBGYN, and breast sonography, specific to the concentrations offered.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES , include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
clinical experiences, with the assistance of the program chair.
Maintain open lines of communication with clinical instructors.
Develop clinical schedules with the assistance of the program chair and agency clinical instructors.
Identify new clinical sites and provide information for clinical education agreement negotiation to the office of the Dean, Health Sciences.

Cooperate in the execution of the college, center, division, and program policies, procedures and guidelines.?
Implement teaching strategies that engage learners in active learning.?
Utilize cutting-edge technology in teaching in the clinical setting.?

Maintain and provide current documentation of all professional requirements.?

Work assigned hours for each clinical assignments during each contracted semester??
Meet all assigned clinical assignments.?
Arrive on time and stay for assigned length of time for clinical days.?
Notify immediate supervisor in a timely manner of any unplanned tardiness or absence.?
Attend general faculty, center, division, and program meetings as schedule allows.?

Provide feedback to students in a timely manner.?
Maintain confidentiality of student information.?
