We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join a fully onsite team in Devon, Pennsylvania. This contract opportunity offers a part-time schedule of approximately 25 to 30 hours per week and is well suited for someone who enjoys balancing core accounting work with day-to-day collaboration throughout the organization. The position will support essential financial operations, reporting, and reconciliations while helping internal stakeholders understand account setup and payment-related processes. Experience with QuickBooks Online and a strong foundation in general ledger activity will be important for success in this role.

Responsibilities:

Manage vendor invoice processing and support timely accounts payable activities within QuickBooks Online.

Prepare journal entries, maintain general ledger accuracy, and complete monthly closing tasks.

Perform bank and account reconciliations to ensure financial records remain complete and reliable.

Compile recurring and ad hoc financial reports to support operational and budget review needs.

Monitor budget activity and help track spending against financial plans.

Process credit card payments and maintain accurate documentation for related transactions.

Contribute to day-to-day accounting support in a growing environment while maintaining organized financial records and strong internal coordination.

Requirements - Previous experience in a Staff Accountant or similar accounting role.

Proficiency with QuickBooks Online and working knowledge of standard accounting workflows.

Hands-on experience with journal entries, general ledger maintenance, and month-end close.

Ability to complete bank reconciliations and produce accurate financial reporting.

Knowledge of corporate tax, sales tax, and corporate tax return processes.

Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage part-time responsibilities efficiently in an onsite setting.

Effective communication skills for assisting non-financial stakeholders with payment and account-related questions.
