Shift: 1st - 5:30am-4pm Mon-Thurs (Overtime availabel on Fri/Sat)

Job Description
This role focuses on assembling and wiring under-dash harnesses, switch panels, circuit boards, and a variety of electrical components for specialty vehicles. You will program lighting systems from engineering specifications, troubleshoot 12V DC and 110V AC circuitry, and perform detailed functional testing to ensure each vehicle meets all performance and quality standards.
Responsibilities
Assemble under-dash harnesses, switch panels, circuit boards, and a wide range of electrical components according to engineering specifications and shop orders.
Program lights and light packages based on engineering specs, including flash patterns and other programmed functions.
Troubleshoot and diagnose issues in 12V DC and 110V AC circuitry to ensure proper operation and safety.
Test products and electrical systems to verify performance against specifications and quality standards.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, layouts, blueprints, schematics, and shop orders to ensure trucks are built accurately per spec.
Perform functionality checks on air horns, sirens, light packages, flash patterns, door locks, and other electrical features.
Identify and correct quality issues in electrical assemblies and wiring to maintain high workmanship standards.
Use tape measures, hand tools, and power tools such as drills and screw guns to complete precise assembly tasks.
Follow written and verbal instructions and document work as required for successful job performance.
Collaborate with team members, offer assistance when needed, and contribute to a positive, productive team environment.
Demonstrate reliable attendance, strong work ethic, and a professional attitude while meeting daily production and quality goals.
Continuously learn and adapt to new processes, products, and engineering changes to improve skills and performance.
Essential Skills
Preferred 1-2 years of automotive electrical experience in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to understand and work with both 12V DC and 110V AC circuitry.
Ability to read and understand engineering drawings, layouts, blueprints, schematics, and shop orders.
Proficiency in reading and using a tape measure with precision down to 1/16 of an inch.
Ability to use common hand tools and power tools such as drills and screw guns safely and effectively.
Capability to read, write, and perform mathematical computations at a level required for accurate measurements and job performance.
Strong attendance, reliability, and work ethic.
Self-motivated and able to work independently while also functioning effectively in a team environment.
Professional communication skills, both verbal and written.
Willingness and ability to learn new skills, processes, and technologies.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with automotive or vehicle electrical systems in a production or manufacturing setting.
Comfort working from engineering specs, written instructions, and verbal guidance.
Ability to perform detailed functionality checks on vehicle electrical components such as sirens, air horns, light packages, door locks, and flash patterns.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality when assembling and wiring electrical components.
Ability to work in an open-air manufacturing environment with varying temperatures.
Interest in progressing through structured skill levels (Level 1, Level 2, Level 3, and Master level) with corresponding pay increases.

Work Environment
The role is based in an open-air manufacturing facility where temperatures can be hot during the summer and cold during the winter. Work is performed on the production floor using common hand tools and power tools such as drills and screw guns, along with tape measures and other standard equipment for electrical assembly. The environment is team-oriented and production-focused, requiring comfort with physical work and adherence to safety practices, including appropriate footwear such as steel or composite toe shoes.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $16.50 - $21.50/hr.
