General Production Worker
Job Description
This role focuses on assembling metal carts for a variety of customers using both hand and power tools. You will work in a production environment where you assemble products and operate equipment safely, efficiently, and ergonomically, while consistently manufacturing quality parts and assemblies.
Responsibilities
Assemble metal carts and related products according to specifications and quality standards.
Use hand tools and power tools to perform assembly tasks safely and efficiently.
Read and interpret basic measurements using a tape measure to ensure accurate assembly.
Operate production equipment in a safe, productive, and ergonomically correct manner.
Follow established manufacturing processes to produce quality parts and assemblies.
Maintain a clean and organized work area to support safety and productivity.
Adhere to all safety guidelines and use appropriate protective equipment as required.
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals.
Report any equipment issues, safety concerns, or quality problems promptly.
Support general production and general labor tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
Essential Skills
Experience with assembly work in a production or manufacturing environment.
Ability to use hand tools confidently and safely.
Ability to operate power tools safely and correctly.
Proficiency in using a tape measure and working with basic measurements.
Understanding of general labor and general production practices.
Commitment to safe, productive, and ergonomically correct equipment operation.
Ability to consistently manufacture quality parts and assemblies.
Reliability in attendance and punctuality to support production schedules.

Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with metal components.

Work Environment
This is a first-shift position, working Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The role is based at a small site with approximately 20 employees, offering a close-knit team atmosphere. The facility is non-climate-controlled and can be loud, so you should be comfortable working in a dynamic industrial environment with appropriate protective equipment as required.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.47 - $18.47/hr.
