Electronics Assembler / Assistant Technician (Entry-Level)

Location: Chesapeake, VA

Pay: $17.00/hour

Schedule: Full-Time Contract Opportunity

What You'll Be Doing

Test, troubleshoot, repair, and refurbish electronic equipment

Perform assembly and disassembly of devices and components

Read and follow schematics, blueprints, diagrams, and work instructions

Use hand tools, power tools, and electronic testing equipment

Identify and replace defective components

Assist with equipment configuration, software loading, and firmware updates

Complete repair documentation and update system records

Maintain quality standards while meeting production goals

Collaborate with technicians, quality teams, and supervisors to resolve issues

Keep workstations organized and maintain a safe work environment

What We're Looking For

High school diploma or GED

Interest in electronics, electrical work, assembly, repair, or troubleshooting

Ability to use hand tools and basic power tools

Basic computer skills and data entry experience

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Comfortable lifting up to 50 pounds when needed

Preferred Experience

Electronics assembly or repair

Soldering or soldering iron experience ( Not needed)

Blueprint or schematic reading

Manufacturing, warehouse, or production experience

Experience with networking, telecommunications, or computer equipment

This is a Contract position based out of Chesapeake, VA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
