Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Paralegal to support a busy law firm on a Contract assignment in Florida. This contract opportunity is expected to last about one month, with the possibility of extension, and is well suited for someone who brings litigation experience along with exposure to estate planning matters. The person in this role will help keep legal files organized, prepare court-related materials, and provide day-to-day support across active matters.

Responsibilities:

Prepare, revise, and format legal documents for litigation and estate-related matters with a high level of accuracy.

Manage electronic court submissions and ensure filings are completed in accordance with applicable deadlines and procedural rules.

Maintain calendars for hearings, deadlines, and case activity to help attorneys stay on track across multiple matters.

Use case management systems to organize records, track updates, and keep matter documentation current.

Transcribe dictated notes, correspondence, and legal content into clear written documents.

Assist with probate and estate administration tasks as needed, including document preparation and file support.

Coordinate case materials, correspondence, and supporting documentation for attorney review and client matters.

Provide additional paralegal and administrative support as priorities shift within the firm. Requirements

Prior paralegal experience supporting civil litigation matters in a law firm environment.

Working knowledge of electronic filing procedures and court document submission requirements.

Familiarity with estate planning, probate, or estate administration processes.

Proficiency with case management software and general legal document handling.

Strong transcription and written communication skills with careful attention to detail.

Ability to manage deadlines, organize multiple assignments, and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.

Availability to work a contract assignment with the potential for extension.
