Job Title: Supply Chain TrainerJob Description
We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Trainer to join our team. The ideal candidate will work closely with subject matter experts to develop comprehensive training materials for various aspects of the supply chain. The role involves leveraging technology to effectively deploy these materials and ensuring that all training content is accessible and engaging for our supply chain's customers and team members.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with subject matter experts to create training materials tailored to the supply chain.
Utilize technology platforms such as Healthstream and videos for training deployment.
Develop and publish training materials for supply chain customers on the intranet, covering topics like issuing POs, new product request processes, and RFID ordering.
Primarily responsible for developing and implementing training programs for staff across all functional areas and leadership levels within the supply chain.
Organize and conduct group trainings, including 'lunch and learn' sessions and certification trainings such as CMRP.
Create one-point lessons for supply chain teammates and customers.
Provide coaching and training to staff, focusing on cross-training and functional team efficiencies.
Drive staff engagement, retention strategies, and continuous effective training.
Conduct training and development needs analyses and assessments on both organizational and individual levels.
Develop and implement specific training and development programs based on assessed needs.
Plan, develop, and deliver training programs encompassing a wide range of technical and operational skills.
Assist in developing training curricula, determining instructional methodologies, and evaluating the incorporation of vendor programs.
Develop and prepare teaching aids, instructional materials, and reference materials tailored to program objectives.
Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and revise or recommend changes as needed.
Manage and archive training records and maintain robust new hire, remediation, refresher, and enhanced skills training programs.
Provide feedback to managers and staff, offering retraining or individual coaching to improve performance.
Develop routine audits of staff performance to ensure adherence to policies and processes.
Essential Skills
5+ years of experience in teaching, building teaching curriculum, and/or supply chain.
Preferred 5+ years of teaching experience within the supply chain.
Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external colleagues.
Experience in utilizing technology for teaching purposes.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and curriculum development.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in building a catalog of available external training specific to supply chain leadership.
Ability to work with supply chain leaders to develop both individual and team development plans.
Experience in evaluating and recommending vendor programs to meet training goals.
Work Environment
This is a hybrid position requiring onsite presence in Palo Alto. Flexibility in schedule will be required to accommodate various training sessions and needs.

This is a Contract position based out of Palo Alto, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $42.00 - $85.00/hr.
