Job Title: Warehouse Coordinator
Job Description
The Warehouse Coordinator oversees daily warehouse operations by coordinating the loading and unloading of trucks, preparing outbound shipments, and managing all related documentation such as invoices and bills of lading. This role uses WMS/ERP systems and spreadsheets to perform accurate data entry, generate reports, and maintain up-to-date inventory and shipping records. The position requires 1-3 years of experience in a warehouse or distribution logistics environment and involves frequent interaction with warehouse staff in a fast-paced setting.
1st. shift: Monday to Friday 7am to 3:30pm
Responsibilities
Coordinate the loading and unloading of trucks to ensure timely and accurate movement of goods.
Prepare outbound shipments, including organizing orders, packing, labeling, and staging materials for dispatch.
Manage documentation for all shipments, including invoices, bills of lading, and other required shipping records.
Perform data entry in WMS/ERP systems and spreadsheets to maintain accurate inventory, shipping, and receiving information.
Generate regular reports related to warehouse inventory, shipping, receiving, and supply chain activities.
Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, shipments, and receipts to support effective warehouse management.
Oversee shipping and receiving processes to ensure compliance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
Handle material movement within the warehouse, including picking, packing, and organizing products for storage and shipment.
Operate sit-down forklifts and other material handling equipment safely to move, load, and unload products.
Interact frequently with warehouse workers to communicate daily tasks, priorities, and operational updates.
Apply Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) in all warehouse activities to support quality and safety standards for food products.
Use Microsoft Word and Excel to create, update, and maintain documents, reports, and tracking tools.
Support supply chain and warehouse inventory activities by monitoring stock, identifying discrepancies, and escalating issues when needed.
Demonstrate strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Provide clear written and oral communication to colleagues and leadership to ensure smooth coordination of warehouse operations.
Contribute to a safe work environment by following OSHA-compliant footwear requirements and all site safety policies.
Essential Skills
1-3 years of experience in a warehouse or distribution logistics environment.
Proficiency with WMS/ERP software for data entry, reporting, and inventory management.
Strong basic computer skills, including use of spreadsheets for tracking and reporting.
Ability to operate sit-down forklifts and other material handling equipment safely.
Experience with inventory management, shipping and receiving, and warehouse inventory processes.
Knowledge of bills of lading and other shipping documentation requirements.
Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
Good written and oral communication skills for interacting with team members and leadership.
Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work closely with warehouse workers on daily tasks.
Ability to perform accurate data entry and maintain detailed records.
Capability to handle picking, packing, unloading, and material handling tasks.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Strong overall computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
Experience working in a Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) environment, preferably within food-related operations.
Understanding of supply chain processes and how warehouse activities support broader business operations.
Comfort working in a large-scale warehouse environment with ongoing distribution activities.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and support a growing, investment-focused distribution site.

Work Environment
The role is based on a 1st shift schedule, typically from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in a brand-new, approximately 575,000-square-foot warehouse facility. The building is heated in the winter and equipped with fans for ventilation, though it is not air-conditioned; temperatures remain moderate compared to outside conditions, even on very hot days. The warehouse stores and ships manufactured food products from another plant and does not conduct manufacturing on-site, but there is a consistent spice aroma throughout the facility. The environment is modern, focused on efficient distribution operations, and uses standard warehouse technologies and material handling equipment. OSHA-compliant safety shoes, such as steel-toe or composite-toe footwear, are required as part of the dress code to support a safe working environment.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
