Volt is immediately hiring an Accounts Payable Associate

in Fort Collins, CO

This is a 6-10 month contract

As an Accounts Payable Associate you will:

Assemble and process invoices for payment

Verify vendor information, including addresses and Federal ID numbers

Review invoices and requisitions to ensure proper coding and approval

Check vendor files for previous payments and maintain accurate records

Maintain organized files of invoices, documentation, and correspondence

Research and resolve discrepancies related to invoices and payments

Assist with bank reconciliations and general accounting support

Generate periodic reports and maintain financial records

Perform general administrative and accounting-related tasks as needed

Communicate effectively with team members regarding financial information

This is a 6-10 month assignment. Monday-Friday (7:00 AM-3:00 PM, 8:00 AM-4:00 PM, or 9:00 AM-5:00 PM) Flexible Schedule.

Accounts Payable Associate candidates must meet the following requirements:

1-2 years of experience in accounts payable or a related field

Basic knowledge of cash management principles

Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office

Ability to read and interpret business documents, procedures, and financial reports

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Ability to communicate clearly and work effectively with coworkers

Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines

Pay for this position is $25/hr.

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
