Job Title: A&P Mechanic
Job Description
This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of general aviation and corporate aircraft in a clean, climate-controlled maintenance hangar on a first-shift, Monday-Friday schedule. The A&P Mechanic inspects, repairs, and modifies aircraft structures and components, maintains and repairs aircraft systems, determines equipment malfunctions, interprets technical documentation, and restores aircraft to proper operating condition while meeting all applicable FAA safety and regulatory requirements. The position primarily supports Cessna Caravan aircraft and other general aviation platforms.
Responsibilities
Ensure all aircraft are airworthy and meet applicable FAA regulatory and safety requirements.
Perform detailed annual aircraft inspections and accurately document all areas requiring maintenance or repair.
Carry out repairs and preventive maintenance in accordance with workbooks, manufacturers' manuals, blueprints, and industry standards.
Maintain and repair aircraft components and systems, including flight controls, engines, pneumatics, fuel systems, electrical systems, plumbing, mechanical and hydraulic systems, and associated accessories.
Repair and modify aircraft structures and structural components, including wings, fuselage, rigging, aircraft floats, and other functional components.
Examine and inspect aircraft components such as landing gear, hydraulic systems, and de-icing systems to identify cracks, breaks, leaks, or other issues.
Diagnose equipment malfunctions by applying technical knowledge of airframe and power plant systems and interpreting technical documentation.
Rebuild and restore aircraft structures, functional components, and parts, including oxygen systems, fuel systems, electrical systems, gaskets, and seals.
Apply comprehensive technical expertise to solve moderate to complex maintenance problems using blueprints and manufacturers' manuals.
Maintain accurate repair logs and documentation for all preventive and corrective maintenance performed on aircraft.
Work primarily on Cessna Caravan aircraft while supporting other general aviation and corporate aviation maintenance needs as required.
Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively, including wrenches, hammers, testing equipment, and related tools.
Operate basic office and communication equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers to support maintenance documentation and communication.
Comply with all drug testing requirements in accordance with federal regulations.
Follow all foreign object damage (FOD) prevention procedures and facility safety protocols.
Collaborate with a small, experienced maintenance crew to complete hands-on projects and support continuous improvement in maintenance practices.
Essential Skills
Two to three years of general aviation aircraft mechanic experience preferred, with hands-on work in aircraft maintenance.
Experience with A&P mechanic duties in general aviation or corporate aviation environments.
Airframe and Power Plant (A&P) license preferred; candidates without an A&P license should have strong general aviation maintenance experience.
Ability to meet FAA regulatory and safety requirements in all aspects of aircraft maintenance and inspection.
Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools commonly used in aircraft maintenance, including wrenches, hammers, and testing equipment.
Ability to operate basic office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers for documentation and communication.
Capability to interpret and apply technical documentation, including manufacturers' manuals, blueprints, and workbooks.
Strong troubleshooting skills for airframe and power plant systems and related aircraft components.
Commitment to obtaining and maintaining all required personal tools within 90 days of starting employment.
Willingness and ability to comply with all applicable drug testing requirements.

This is a Permanent position based out of SOUTH SAINT PAUL, MN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $98000.00/yr.
Very clean shop, with a small crew. Lots of hands on training, and opportunity to move up.
Good insurance, benefits.
Pay range $28-46/hr.
Potential for sign on or relocation.
