Job Title: Electrical Installer
Job Description
We are seeking an efficient and detail-oriented Electrical Installer to assemble electrical components and structures into finished products according to specifications, blueprints, and work orders. In this role, you accurately follow diagrams and manufacturing information, use hand and power tools to complete assemblies, and ensure all products meet strict quality standards. You work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, collaborate closely with your team, and contribute to a high-growth organization focused on electrification products for critical infrastructure.
Responsibilities
Assemble electrical components, switchboards, panelboards, and related structures according to diagrams, schematics, blueprints, and work orders.
Follow all safety protocols and procedures, including wearing safety shoes, safety glasses, ear protection, and other required personal protective equipment.
Use hand tools, power tools, and torque wrenches safely and accurately to install and secure materials to required specifications.
Read and interpret manufacturing information such as front views, bills of materials, drawings, blueprints, and order entry systems to ensure accurate assembly.
Ensure the quality of assembled structures by checking that products are level, square, and meet design specifications.
Inspect components such as corner posts, roofs, covers, and other materials for damage including dents, scratches, or other defects before and after assembly.
Assemble copper bussing according to design requirements, verifying correct spacing from phase to phase and to ground.
Perform visual inspections of materials and finished assemblies, identify nonconforming parts, and troubleshoot assembly errors.
Communicate job progress within the assigned area, promptly identify problem areas or part shortages, and coordinate with the team to resolve issues.
Proactively identify missing components and resolve assembly issues using oral and written instructions.
Utilize various hand tools to accurately install material while closely following established procedures and work instructions.
Participate in process improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency and quality, and perform root cause analysis in response to production or quality issues.
Work both independently and collaboratively with a team, maintaining clear and professional communication with coworkers and leads.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with company standards and safety guidelines.
Follow training plans and standard operating procedures, applying newly learned skills to production work after the initial training period.
Perform other related duties as assigned to support production goals and operational needs.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience working as an assembler or wiring technician in a manufacturing environment.
Familiarity with assembly tools, techniques, and manufacturing processes.
Experience working with blueprints and manufacturing documentation.
Exposure to GMP, manufacturing process standards, ERP systems, and inventory control is beneficial.
Interest in learning new equipment and processes through hands-on training and development.
Willingness to work 7 am to 6 pm Monday-Thursday schedule with overtime on Friday's as needed.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Elkridge, MD.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
