Cleanroom Technician - 1st & 2nd Shift - $22/hr

Job Description

We are seeking dedicated cleanroom technicians responsible for kitting, filling, and packaging operations. This role involves preparing manufactured cartridges for shipment in a temperature-controlled environment for domestic and international customers.

Responsibilities

Conduct kitting assembly operations for manufactured cartridges.

Perform filling operations ensuring correct product placement within flow cells.

Operate process equipment including balances, pneumatic presses, pumps, and heat sealers.

Engage in potential simple bulk formulations.

Follow detailed work instructions provided through a cloud-based application.

Operate heat sealing machines to securely seal flow cells.

Ensure accurate alignment of flow cells for labeling with QR codes, lot numbers, and batch records.

Cut excess foil from sealed flow cells.

Essential Skills

Assembly and cleanroom experience.

Packaging and filling proficiency.

Previous manufacturing experience preferred.

Team player mindset.

Strong communication skills.

Proficiency in using Outlook and Microsoft Teams.

Laboratory and inspection capabilities.

Batch record and labeling experience.

Visual inspection skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Comfortable leading a fill and pack line.

Willingness to learn or already comfortable with small volume aliquoting (less than 1mL).

Strong team play mindset.

Ability to use Outlook and Microsoft Teams.

Preferred experience in manufacturing (MFG).

Work Environment

The role is on the first shift from 6am to 2:30pm, with an initial training period starting at 9am during the first week. Eventually, work will shift to a manufacturing site located in San Diego, CA. Work occurs in a cleanroom environment requiring lab coats, shoe covers, hair nets, and safety glasses as needed. The current overtime expectation is low, and new hires are expected to adhere to attendance policies.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Diego, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
