As a Security Officer in St Louis Park, MN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a dynamic commercial real estate location, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, support visitor access, and conduct routine patrols that help to discourage security-related incidents. Pay Rate: $19.65 / Hour

Day Time

Mon03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Tue03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Wed03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Thur03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Fri03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.

Monitor and control access at assigned entry points by checking credentials, verifying visitor information, issuing access passes, and documenting arrivals and departures according to property protocols.

Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to property management and/or emergency services when needed.

Conduct regular and random patrols of lobbies, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized access and identify unusual activity.

Maintain detailed activity logs, incident reports, and access control records, and communicate relevant updates to tenants, visitors, property staff, and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
