Value Stream Manager

Job Description

Insight Global is looking to hire a Value Stream Manager for one of our largest manufacturing clients to sit in Marion, NY. As a Value Stream Manager, you will oversee daily value stream operations, including production control, supply chain coordination, and scheduling to ensure efficiency, flow, and on-time delivery. Own P&L performance by identifying cost, productivity, and margin improvement opportunities while managing budgets. Lead and develop Team Leaders and cross-functional teams (quality, engineering, associates), driving accountability and a strong team culture. Champion Lean manufacturing by enforcing standard work, optimizing flow and pull systems, and leading continuous improvement initiatives. Partner with leadership to execute long-term strategies, implement improvements, and track performance through visual management tools.

Skills and Requirements

Bachelors degree

8-10 years of strong lean manufacturing experience (implementation and results)

P&L ownership experience (cost, margin, productivity, PPV)

Proven people leadership experience

Experience with:

Budgeting & financial management

Workforce development & performance management

Inventory control / supply chain / production operations Experience leading plant-wide or large value stream transformations

Deep exposure to Parker Lean / similar Lean system
