Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support manufacturing operations through process improvements, equipment troubleshooting, and capital project execution. This hands-on role works closely with production, maintenance, and engineering teams to optimize safety, quality, and efficiency while supporting automated assembly systems and manufacturing equipment.

Responsibilities

Improve manufacturing processes, equipment performance, and production efficiency.

Troubleshoot mechanical and process issues related to automated assembly equipment.

Support CAPEX projects, including equipment selection, implementation, and startup.

Create and update engineering documentation, drawings, and models using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.

Provide technical support on the production floor and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve operational challenges.

Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, throughput, and cost reduction.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.

3-7 years of mechanical engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.

Strong SolidWorks experience, including 3D modeling and engineering drawings.

Experience supporting automated equipment and manufacturing processes.

Exposure to injection molding and/or automated assembly systems preferred.

Experience with capital projects and equipment implementation.

Strong hands-on mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, and continuous improvement mindset.

This is a Permanent position based out of DeForest, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $90000.00/yr.
