The Role

The selected candidate will be required to perform arrival condition, in-process and final product inspections as well as witness testing operations. Also responsible for ensuring that all requirements of drawings and procedures are met for specific processes (shipboard, shop, and warehouse). Assist with Quality Improvement Activities. Responsible for performing non-nuclear outfitting inspections on new and existing shipboard components/systems for aircraft carriers and submarines.

Must Have

Must be able to work assigned shift as production needs

Nice to Have

High School graduate or equivalent is preferred. The candidate must have good communication/writing skills and be able to read/comprehend ship construction drawings, procedures and methods. Previous experience in the MIP/SHT and outfitting field is preferred. Ability to obtain security clearance is required. The position comes with the potential of travel.
