About the role:
This position provides supervision, leadership, training, guidance, and direction to the warehouse/shipping department.
MATERIAL & WAREHOUSE OPERATION
-
Plan, organize, supervise & participate in daily warehouse operation activities.
Supervise the receipt, documentation, storage, safety & distribution of equipment, supplies and maintenance of inventory.
Enforce proper inventory procedures and ensure timely transactions by Warehouse personnel, while conducting regular cycle counts.
PROCESS

Ensures proper documentation of processes, equipment, systems, employee relation issues, Investigations
Lead warehouse sanitation/5S activities
Develop and recommend departmental budgets while ensuring budget compliance.
LOGISTICS

Coordination of freight/courier for Lexington and our customers
Attain and assess freight/courier rates for Lexington and our customers

Job Requirements:
Education: Requires 3 to 5 years' experience in a Manufacturing and Warehousing environment using automated shipping routines, ERP software systems.
Experience and/or Training: Must have the skills and experience in shipping products in a fast-paced, high volume manufacturing environment. Knowledge of Freight Logistics and traffic management required.
Technology/Equipment: Proficient in Microsoft Office software's and general computer literacy is required.
Physical Requirements: Must be able to stand for 8-12 hours. (Prolonged periods of standing, walking, bending, and stretching). Must be able to withstand repetitive movements. Must be able to lift 40lbs sporadically unassisted.
Working Environment: Due to loud noise and dust levels, hearing and eye protection are required. The conditions and materials used may be dirty.?The warehouse environment may have varied hot and cold temperatures. Must be able to tolerate some weather-related heat and/or humidity. Must be able to tolerate some paint smells.
